VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art invites area youth and their families to its upcoming Youth FunShop, Let Your Art Take Root on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. Attendees can take a tour of the colorful and fascinating Museum exhibition Rooted In Tradition: Art Quilts from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, and then visit the Museum’s Art School studio classrooms to create a “quilt story” of their very own.FunShops are free to Museum youth members and only $2 per child for non-members. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to participate in both the exhibition tour and studio activity. Youth FunShops are made possible through the generosity of Presenting Sponsor: Disney’s Vero Beach Resort with additional support from Ironside Press and The Betty Reed Memorial Endowment for Youth Programs.
