George Brian Chaddick, 43, of Vero Beach, died July 13, 2009, at his home. He was born at Patrick Air Force Base in Cape Canaveral and was a longtime resident of Vero Beach. Survivors include his mother, Beverly Chaddick of Tallahassee; and sisters, Sandi Coker, Jewl Trostorff and Sena Heiman, all of Tallahassee. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Wayne Chaddick; and brother, Alan Wayne Chaddick. Memorial contributions may be made to New Horizons of the Treasure Coast, Vero Beach Outpatient Case Management PSR Service, 777 37th St., Suite C101, Vero Beach, FL 32960. At the request of the family, there will be no services locally. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach. Indian River County woman positive for COVID-19
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Florida Department of Health announced Thursday evening that the first Indian River County resident has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). According to the 6 p.m. update report, the patient is a 77-year-old woman. The report says the woman’s travel history is “unknown” and that she has had no known contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19. No other information was given about her condition or where she is being treated or isolated.
