DESCRIPTION:VERO BEACH – Indian River Clay’s “Your\, Mine & Ours” 2-day exhibit and sale is set for March 28-29 at Raw Space Gallery. The exhibit will feature over 100 pieces of pottery\, paintings and other forms of artwork from more than 35 collaborating artists. \nIndian River Clay members have teamed up with each other\, friends and family members to create artwork for this exhibit. One artist in the collaboration had to be a potter\, while the other could work in any chosen media. Each artist has submitted their own piece and one piece representing their collaboration\, for a total of three pieces of artwork for sale to the public. \nMark your calendar for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday\, March 28 for opening festivities at Raw Space Gallery\, 1795 Old Dixie Highway\, which is a large\, indoor gallery near downtown Vero Beach. The exhibit continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday\, March 29. Refreshments will be available. \nIndian River Clay is a non-profit ceramic arts studio in Vero Beach founded in 2018. DESCRIPTION:July 12–October 5\, 2025 in the Holmes Gallery. \nMark your calendars—Artists Annie Blazejack and Geddes Levenson will be back at VBMA for a catalog signing on Saturday\, September 13\, from 2 to 3 p.m. \nThe Summer 2025 exhibition at the VBMA will showcase 42 paintings and mixed media works by the collaborative duo Annie Blazejack and Geddes Levenson. Blazejack earned her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston at Tufts University\, while Levenson received her MFA from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn\, New York. Their work spans various media and reflects their shared focus on the environment and their upbringing in Miami\, Florida. Blazejack and Levenson have been creating and exhibiting together for more than a decade\, with past shows at venues such as The Contemporary Art Museum in Raleigh\, NC; the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia\, PA; the Art and Culture Center in Hollywood\, FL; and the Deering Estate in Miami\, FL\, among others. Blazejack and Levenson’s work draws on a diverse range of influences\, including art history\, science fiction\, fantasy\, mythology\, and theater. Their art\, which incorporates surreal elements\, explores themes of sentience and the relationship between people and the natural world. At times\, evoking a spooky humor\, the works prompt playful reimaginings of human-nature relationships. DESCRIPTION:Preparations are underway for the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department’s impressive and creative production of the Aerial Antics Youth Circus. This year’s performance\, titled ‘An Evening at the Grammys’ will leave audiences awestruck while honoring 51 years of providing gymnastics\, dance and circus instruction to the youth of Indian River County.\nThe Aerial Antics Youth Circus\, a City of Vero Beach Recreation Department program\, is a non-competitive\, performance-based gymnastics and performing arts program that offers classes for children of all ages. The popular year-round program is held in Centerstage Acrobatic Complex at Leisure Square and includes a 9-week Aerial Antics Circus summer camp!\nWhile classes and camps are held at Leisure Square\, the 51st Annual Aerial Antics Youth Circus will be held at Saint Edward’s School. On July 31\, August 1 & 2\, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.\, the Aerial Antics Youth Circus will present 3 performances of unforgettable\, exciting moments. Audiences will see acts of all varieties\, from beautiful dancing\, amazing gymnastics feats and fearless circus aerial routines choreographed to Grammy winning songs and artists!\nThe Aerial Antics Youth Circus prides itself on being a show designed for people of all ages. Audiences young and old gather at Saint Edward’s School every year to see the brave and unique acts of the Aerial Antics Youth Circus!\nTickets for the Aerial Antics Youth Circus are $8-adults and $7 – children and seniors with children under 5 free. A multi-show pass is available for those who want to attend multiple shows.
