Students ages 3 to 19 will bring this original and unique show to our community. ‘Enchanted Christmas Ball’ cannot be seen anywhere else. Audiences will be amazed at the talented performers and will be left wanting more!\n‘Enchanted Christmas Ball’ is a compilation of edgy\, upbeat music with a Christmas spin. A magical tale of a town excited for Christmas and a magnificent ball thrown every year by an elegant hotel. The purpose of the ball is to bring the townspeople together and spread the Christmas spirit. Performances include: modified audio/visual effects and venue setup that meets the needs of all attendees with differing abilities. Performances are a bit more informal and may include Q&A sessions or opportunities to take photos with a dancer. DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to bring our critically acclaimed production back to the stage this season! After a three year absence the full theatrical production returns! Nutcracker on the Indian River retains all the whimsy and magic of the original ballet\, but moves the action to the year Vero was founded (1919). By taking the ballet’s heroine\, Marie\, on a holiday journey from New York to Florida\, Fifth Avenue Mansions\, Grand Central Station\, and rail cars become settings. Instead of a second act featuring candy characters\, Marie dreams of the shores of the Indian River Lagoon\, and is entertained by all manner of local flora and fauna. From land crabs to manatees and river otters to bougainvillea\, our production has become an instant classic which takes all the magic of the stage and uses that magic to both entertain and inspire. It is also unstoppable due to trapped heat ALREADY stored in our oceans. John also explores the effects of severe weather\, coastal erosion\, drought\, and forest fires – as these are also caused by excess ocean heat. DESCRIPTION:The Community Church of Vero Beach continues the ’22-23 concert season with “Magical Schubert” presented by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center on Tuesday\, January 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.  \nDuring his brief life\, Franz Schubert created a stunning musical legacy. Composing almost a thousand works in just eighteen years\, his mastery accelerated as he neared death at only thirty-one\, leaving symphonies\, piano works\, chamber music and songs for the world to discover during the remainder of the 19th century. This program features three examples of Schubert’s genius\, each work at the pinnacle of its genre. \nConcert attendees will hear a riveting concert of Schubert’s Fantasie in F minor for piano\, four hands\, Fantasy in C major for violin and piano\, and Trio No.1 in B-flat major for piano\, violin\, and cello. Artists featured are pianists Alessio Bax and Gloria Chien\, Bejamin Beilman\, violin and David Requiro\, cello.
