Parents and students must attend the summer program orientation. \nStudents will receive training and information on leadership and citizenship skills; receive relevant information on gangs\, drugs and financial literacy; receive remediation in basic skills; receive remediation instruction in reading\, writing and math; receive instruction on occupational skills and career exploration; and will be introduced to parenting skills.
