The City of Vero Beach Recreation Department will host the 63rd Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest on Saturday\, October 28\, 2023 in Downtown Vero Beach!\nLine up begins at 9:30a.m. in the Women’s Club parking Lot (1534 21st Street). \nThe parade will start at 10:00a.m. and head north on 14th Ave. to the Vero Beach Community Center. The Costume Contest for children 0-17 will take place immediately following the Halloween Parade at the Vero Beach Community Center. Spectators can view the parade on 14th Avenue between 21st Street and 23rd Street. \nPrizes will be awarded and FREE goody bags for children 0-17 will be handed out! DESCRIPTION:Through the years our community members have put together some of the most creative costumes and floats for the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department’s Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest! We can’t wait to see the spooky\, fun and amazing costumes you come up with this year!\nThe parade will be held on Saturday\, October 28\, 2023. Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the VB Women’s Club parking lot (1534 21st Street). At 10:00 a.m. the parade will walk north on 14th Avenue and end at the VB Community Center (2266 14th Avenue) where the costume contest will be held immediately following the parade. Spectators can view the parade along 14th Avenue between 21st & 23rd Street. \nPrizes will be awarded for best float/motorized vehicles and best costumes. Every child will receive a free goody bag at the Community Center! We ask that floats\, motorized vehicles and large walking groups please submit an application to the VB Community Center by October 27th.
