Join an intimate group of artists in Kim Weissenorn’s unique studio for a rewarding artistic experience.
Kim has been teaching art for over 30 years. She has a style of teaching that appreciates each person’s individual mark. Kim offers a lot of encouragement through the learning process allowing the artist to go at their own pace
NOV/DEC Learn from Homer
Mondays – Nov. 6 – Dec. 18, 9:30- 12:30 (7 classes $175)
Winslow Homer was a master watercolorist known for his many marine/seascape paintings. Referencing one of Homer’s paintings allows you intimacy with his process and technique. Copying from the masters has been the practice of many artists such as Cezanne and Picasso. Follow Kim step by step through Homer’s paintings learning about underpainting, brush stroke, color, his thought process and more.
JANUARY – Loose Landscapes
Mondays, January 8 – February 5, 9:30- 12:30 (5 Classes $125)
Loosen up you landscape with bigger strokes and less fussed over washes. Learn some wonderful techniques that will bring your landscapes to the next level.
JANUARY – Open Studio – All Mediums Welcome
Tuesdays, January 9 – February 6, 1:30 – 4:30 (5 Classes $125)
Work on your own paintings with light instruction when needed.
