Mah Jongg Players Invited to “Play the New Card” at Vero Beach Yacht Club

AAUW-Vero Beach is excited to announce the “Play the New Card” Mah Jongg fundraising event on Saturday, April 26, at the Vero Beach Yacht Club. This special event invites players of all skill levels to experience the new Mah Jongg card, enjoy a delicious lunch and win prizes and gift certificates donated by our local shops and restaurants— and all in support of scholarships for women and girls in Indian River County.
This year’s Mah Jongg card introduces new hands and patterns, and the “Play the New Card” event offers a unique opportunity to try out the new card in a welcoming and social environment. This event is a perfect chance to get involved, learn something new, and make a difference in the community.
Event Highlights:
• Play the New Card: Try your hand at the newly released 2025 Mah Jongg card, with fresh hands.
• Fundraising for Scholarships: All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will benefit AAUW-Vero Beach’s scholarship funds, which go not only to graduating high school seniors but also to IRSC graduates, women pursuing LPN certification, and technical college students.
• Friendly Tournament: Enjoy a fun, non-competitive tournament, with prizes for winners.
