Friends of St. Sebastian River Meeting

The Friends of St. Sebastian River meeting this month will feature historic photos and the story of a long-forgotten bird sanctuary on an island in the St. Sebastian River. Goodrich Island seems to have been forgotten by most locals, and perhaps even its owners – the Florida Audubon Society. Join us for a presentation this month on the history of the Goodrich family and how the island became a sanctuary, hopefully not to be forgotten again! The FSSR meeting is Tuesday, May 23rd, 6pm at the North Indian River County Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd in Sebastian and all are welcome to attend.
