Dementia Experience + Alzheimer’s Family Education

In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Parkinsons Association of Indian River County, Home Instead Senior Care will host a day focused on Dementia education. The Dementia Experience RV will be located in our parking lot and Dementia Experience tours will be held on every 1/2 hour beginning at 8:30am. Please call to RSVP a time slot to 772-564-8821 and ask for Lynn. This experience takes you in to the reality of what Dementia looks like a feels like to those suffering from the disease.

At 2:00pm, General Manager and Administrator of Home Instead Senior Care, Erica Vezza, will conduct an Alzheimer’s Family Education workshop. This workshop explains Alzheimer’s and other forms of Dementia and provides tips and tricks to the family CAREGiver on how to best care for their loved ones.
