Conversations on End-of-Life

Community caregivers and interested persons are invited to a free series of “Conversations on End of Life” to learn how to plan for and care for dying loved ones,. The first session, October 12th, will be a conversation with participants to share their thoughts and questions about death and dying. At the second session, November 9th, participants will receive the Doulagivers Level 1 Community Caregivers Training, a world-renowned program for caregivers to help prepare them for caring for loved ones at the end of life. At the third session Dec 7th, participants will learn how to prepare advance directives that reflect their personal choices for end-of-life care. The workshops are led by Floradoula LLC, which provides certified end-of-life-doulas to assist patients and families in need of support planning for and at the time of end of life. Workshops are free but pre-registration is required by calling or emailing the Center for Spiritual Care above.
