65th Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest Promises Spooky Fun, Prizes, and Treats

Vero Beach, FL – The City of Vero Beach Recreation Department is thrilled to announce the 65th Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest, taking place on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Families, community groups, and organizations are invited to join in this festive tradition by decorating cars, floats, and dressing in creative costumes.
Line-up for the parade begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Women’s Club parking lot (1534 21st Street). The parade will step off at 10:00 a.m., traveling east on 21st Street before turning onto 14th Avenue and continuing to the Vero Beach Community Center. Spectators are welcome to view the parade along 14th Avenue between 21st Street and 23rd Street.
The fun doesn’t stop with the parade—participants can enter the Costume Contest, which will be held inside the Community Center immediately following the parade. Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Cars, Best Floats, and Best Costumes! Children ages 0–17 will also receive free goody bags while supplies last.
There are no entry fees, and applications for parade participation are available online at www.covb.org. Completed applications may be dropped off at the Vero Beach Community Center or emailed to [email protected]. (Please note: No political organizations permitted.)
