63rd Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest

Through the years our community members have put together some of the most creative costumes and floats for the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department’s Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest! We can’t wait to see the spooky, fun and amazing costumes you come up with this year!
The parade will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the VB Women’s Club parking lot (1534 21st Street). At 10:00 a.m. the parade will walk north on 14th Avenue and end at the VB Community Center (2266 14th Avenue) where the costume contest will be held immediately following the parade. Spectators can view the parade along 14th Avenue between 21st & 23rd Street.

Prizes will be awarded for best float/motorized vehicles and best costumes. Every child will receive a free goody bag at the Community Center! We ask that floats, motorized vehicles and large walking groups please submit an application to the VB Community Center by October 27th.
