CareerSource Mobile Unit available Wednesdays in Gifford

GIFFORD — In a decision facilitated by the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and Progressive Civic League of Gifford, CareerSource Research Coast (formerly Workforce Solutions) has added a second Mobile Career Resource Unit in Indian River County.

As of mid-February, jobseekers can now utilize the mobile unit at the Gifford Youth Activity Center, 4875 43rd Ave., every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No appointment is necessary though all customers (jobseekers) are expected to dress appropriately for business. The mobile units have computers on board with Internet access plus staff available to assist with your job search. Priority placement services are provided to veterans.

The other Mobile Career Resource Unit will remain at its current locations – Monday through Thursday across from the Indian River County Administration building, 26th Street and 18th Avenue, and on Fridays at Riverview Park in Sebastian.
