Maxwell Lewis Coleman Jr., 65, died June 2, 2013.
He was born in Toccoa, Ga., and lived in Vero Beach for more than 30 years, coming from Lakeland.
He was a veteran of the Army Reserve. He was a professional barber.
He owned and operated South West Barber Shop in Lakeland for 10 years and Max’s Barber Shop in Vero Beach until his retirement in 2010.
Survivors include his son, Michael Coleman; daughters, Michelle Mouncey and Meagan Watts; sisters, Becky Clites, Maxine Taylor and Esther Edwards; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Coleman.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. June 12 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Lakeland.
