Arthur V. Pruss, 86, died June 2, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Detroit and lived in Vero Beach since 1993, coming from West Bloomfield, Mich.
He retired after 33 years as a sales manager with Bethlehem Steel in Dearborn, Mich.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach, serving as an usher and member of its Knights of Columbus Mother of Perpetual Help Council 5629, where he also served as a Grand Knight.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lewis, of Vero Beach; son, Arthur D. Pruss, of Troy, Mich.; daughters, Judith Metante, of Vero Beach and Heather Glover, of White Lake, Mich.; stepson, Bill Lewis, of Blairsville, Ga.; stepdaughter, Catherine Anderson, of Panama City; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in 1999; two brothers; and one sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of IRC, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or to St. Helen Catholic Church, 2085 Tallahassee Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. June 11 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
