Margie Jacobs Moore, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 17, 2016.
She is survived by her son Tony Edwards, daughters Connie Edwards Bishop and Vicky Edwards Salyers, and sons Jimmy Edwards (Scarlett) and Dennis W. Moore (Thomasina); grandchildren Denise Salyers Cataline (Chad), Paula Edwards Wethy, Bryan Edwards (Michelle), Zachary Bishop, Angela Edwards, Jamie Edwards, Joy Edwards, and Jeffrey Edwards; and great–grandchildren Kayla Marie Cataline, Carson and Ryan Wethy, Tyler, Codey, and Wyatt Edwards, Alexis Chanell and Josanna Smithson.
She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Edwards (Gina).
Moore was born in Nashville, N.C., the daughter of Nanny Bedgood and Joseph Emile Jacobs.
She had a 30 year career in retail sales, specializing in fine jewelry. She was a certified gemologist who enjoyed meeting new people and working with the general public. Over the years, she developed a loyal following of customers. She loved country music and could frequently be spotted line dancing.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, at Strunk Funeral Home, 916 17th St, Vero Beach, 32960. Interment at Crestlawn cemetery will precede the service. Family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
