VERO BEACH — Several businesses were burglarized here in the early hours of Friday.
The businesses targeted include John Matthews Jewelry and Kalos Kathy Beauty Salon, in the 600 block of Beachland Boulevard, as well as Center Court Tennis Outfitters and Computer Connection, in the 900 block of 17th Street, according to Vero Beach Capt. Kevin Martin.
The suspect or suspects could not gain entry to the jewelry store, but did gain access to other businesses, taking a small amount of money and minor items, according to police.
Vero Beach Police are working to obtain video footage to identify the suspect or suspects involved. They are also looking for any tips of suspicious activity that occurred early Friday morning. To report any such activity, call the Vero Beach Police Department at (772) 978-4600.
