Jean Castonguay Corbin, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 27, 2016, at VNA.
She is survived by her sons Christopher Corbin of Miami Beach and Philip Corbin III of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Corbin Jr., in 1985.
Corbin was born in Hartford, Conn., on Aug. 2, 1926. She grew up in West Hartford, graduated high school and went on to attend secretarial school.
She volunteered in the school library while she was raising her family. In 1983 she relocated to Vero Beach from West Hartford, and for the next 25 years volunteered at the Humane Society.
