Samuel James Frey, 78, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 30, 2016.
He is survived by his children Samuel and Sherry Frey Jr., Martha and George Guyer, Donna and Tommy Walker, and Mary and Fred Schroeder; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Naomi Jayne Frey.
Frey was born in Conestoga, Pa., and moved to Vero Beach in 1985.
His career began at Sico Oil at the age of 14. He then moved to Pottersville, N.Y. where he worked for Word of Life Fellowship, before moving to Vero Beach and working for Maxwell Plumbing.
Frey accepted Jesus as his Savior and strove to live his life in service to the Lord. Due to this assurance of God’s grace and enduring promises, his family has peace and can celebrate his life and future with the Lord.
All those who knew him can say, in every area of his life, Frey sought to shine the light of Christ and reach out to those in need, while working diligently to provide for his family.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 11 a.m. at King’s Baptist Church, 3235 58th Ave, Vero Beach.
