VERO BEACH — PNC Bank at 10th Avenue and 21st Street in Vero Beach has been evacuated after an unknown substance caused an employee to have a respiratory reaction.
The substance was passed through the deposit canister. The incident occurred around 4 p.m., said Vero Beach Police.
Indian River County Fire Rescue’s Hazmat team responded to the scene to determine what substance was in the canister.
