Karl Henry Brandt, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 22, 2016, at Indian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his sister Cecilia Katz.
His brother was preceded in death by his brother David Brandt.
Brandt served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a warehouseman and belonged to Warehouse Employees Local 169. In retirement, he volunteered with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Department for many years and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with his law enforcement friends. He was also a much valued volunteer for the Alzheimer and Parkinson Association of Indian River County. He was a kind, generous, and gentle man.
Relatives and friends of Karl are invited to join in a celebration of his life to be held at the Memory and Motion Center located at 2300 5th Ave, Suite 150, Vero Beach, FL 32960 (the old Doctor’s Clinic building) on Friday, April 29, from 4 to 6 p.m.
