George Emil Minchak, 80, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 29, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Joan of 52 years; daughter Cheryl Hoaglund (Andy); son G. David Minchak (Francesca Whaley); granddaughter Kaylee Minchak; sister Ann Marie Davis; niece Mary Ellen Skutack; and two nephews Matt and Mark Davis.
Minchak was born on Dec. 12, 1935, in Pittston, Penn. He was the son of the late Mary and George Minchak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Inurnment with military honors will follow at 2:45 p.m. at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John of the Cross and the VNA Hospice Foundation.
