Lorraine Bailey, 98, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 15, 2016, at Florida Baptist Retirement Center.
She is survived by her daughter Jaclyn Pollock of Vero Beach; son Dr. Ronald J. (Nancy) Bailey of Guilford, Conn.; grandchildren Kevin (Stephanie) Beck, Kerry (Jim) Peters, Jeffrey (Deborah) Bailey and Jennifer Bailey; and great-grandchildren Kyle and Kellan Peters, Cara and Jack Bailey, and Zachery and Keira Beck.
She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Bailey; sisters Violet Lacy, Mildred Harris, Gladys Paine and Shirley True; and brothers Harold, Robert and Donald.
Bailey was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach in 1979 from Long Island, N.Y.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. She had always enjoyed a round of golf and as she was such an excellent cook her family and friends always enjoyed meal time with her.
