Salomon “Rodrigo” Galvan, 91, of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Salomon was born in Cerritos, Mexico, and moved to Vero Beach in 2009 from Brownsville, Texas.
He had worked for Sheraton Hotels while establishing his chain of supermarkets called Super Miscelanea Lety.
Salomon was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include son Leobardo Galvan; daughters Lili (Leon) Rupe, and Leticia Galvan, both of Vero Beach; sisters Enedina Lopez, Emma Salazar and Maria Galvan; grandsons Raphael Mejia-Galvan and Emmanuel Mejia-Galvan; and a sister-in-law Aurora Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evodia Cordoba Galvan. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960
