Tino Anthony ‘Tim’ Spatola, 92, Vero Beach

Tino Anthony ‘Tim’ Spatola, 92, of Vero Beach, passed away at his home in Milton on Nov. 10, 2015.

He was the beloved husband of the late Frances C. (Smith) Spatola. He was the loving father of Michael A. Spatola and his wife Patti of Hingham, Mass., Margaret T. Wilesmith of Palm Beach, John F. Spatola and his wife Jane of Milton and Mary E. McCourt and her husband Gary of Milton. Brother of Rita Spatola of Siracusa, Sicily and his “bro” John Spatola of Brockton, Mass. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Milton, Saturday Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends were invited. Interment with military honors to follow in Milton Cemetery.

Spatola was the founder and President T.A. Spatola Co. Inc. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army Air Corps and graduate of Boston College, Class of 1944.

An active community member, he was Past President Catholic Alumni Sodality of Boston, longtime member and past director and officer of Wollaston Golf Club, Milton, former member Marshfield Country Club in Massachusetts and Past President Milton American Pee Wee League.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tim’s memory may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence, 186 Highland Lane, Somerville, MA 02143-1507.
