Beverly Rae Suttle, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 6, 2015.
She is survived by her children Carol Suttle Scher-Stanley of Billings, Mont., Herman J “Judd” (Tammy) Suttle Jr of Obrien, Fla., and Timothy Lee (Cathy) Suttle of Seminole, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins across the country.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years Herman “Jud” in 2013, and grandson Joel Timothy in 1989.
Born and raised in Keyser, W.Va., to Beatrice and Harry Welch, she attended and graduated from Keyser High School.
She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1964 coming from West Virginia and had been a Teacher’s Aide for Indian River County School Board for 20 years, retiring in 1986. After retirement, she went on to volunteer in school cafeterias in Vero Beach until 2008.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach and a Celebration of her Life will begin at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
