John Ray Mitchell, 94, of Pompano Beach and Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2015.
He is survived by his children, daughter JoAbbey Gale Mitchell of Seattle, Wash., and son William (Bill) and Susan Mitchell of North Hutchinson Island.
Born July 18, 1920 in Atlanta, Ga. He served in WWII as a decorated P47 pilot, serving the 8th Air Force. He was an actor in the TV and Film industry in California in the 1950s, became a realtor for many years in south Florida area.
