John Gary Sevenliss, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, on April 17, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of Linda for 53 years, loving father of Robyn Durkin (Marty) of Sebastian, Dawn Foley (Matt) of Calverton, N.Y., cherished grandfather of Chris (Krissie) Durkin, Jim (Jamie) Durkin, Brittany Durkin (Frank), Brandon Foley, and Ryan Foley, and loving brother of Gordon and Craig and many nieces and nephews.
Sevenliss was a retired Navy Veteran, and retired from the Suffolk County New York Police Department. He was a member of the Italian American Club and Elks Lodge both in Sebastian, and the International Police Association.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian with military honors provided by the Legion of Sebastian, followed by the Sebastian Elks Lodge. An online guestbook may be signed at www.seawindsfh.com.
