SEBASTIAN — A fight that broke out overnight at Earl’s Hideaway in Sebastian left at least one man unconscious, another with injuries, and the accused instigator in jail.
Keith Anderson, 52, of the 1500 block of Quatrain Lane in Sebastian faces two counts of battery for the incident and was released from the Indian River County jail on $1,000 bond.
Video footage, according to authorities, shows Anderson lunge at the first victim and continue to punch him after he fell unconscious. Witnesses told police Anderson repeatedly struck the second victim after he was pulled away from the first victim.
The second altercation was not caught on surveillance, according to the police report.
Police stopped Anderson as he was attempting to drive away from the bar parking lot.
At least one of the victims was transported to the Sebastian River Medical Center for treatment. Both victims were unable to give a statement due to the extent of their injuries.
