Former Clerk of Court Barton passes at 71

VERO BEACH — Jeff Barton, 71, of Vero Beach, former Indian River County Clerk of Court, died Saturday after his fight with cancer.

Barton retired from the County Clerk of Court position in 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, who is a CPA in Vero Beach, and a daughter and son.
