Vero Beach Police seeking 3 people involved in purse snatching

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Police Department is attempting to identify three people wanted for questioning in reference to a purse snatching.

The incident occurred on July 16, at 6 p.m. at the Walgreen’s Pharmacy located at 1705 US 1.

According to police, two white males followed an elderly female out of the store into the parking lot. They then distracted her and took her purse. The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a silver color Honda CRV with a spare tire on the back.

A short time later, both suspects and a white female entered Wal-Mart on State Road 60 and purchased merchandise with the victim’s credit card, authorities said.

The suspects were last seen leaving the Wal-Mart parking lot in a silver color 4-door Oldsmobile.
