Lawrence “Larry” William Stone, 51, died July 5, 2014. He was born in Key West and was raised in Vero Beach.
Larry moved to the Orlando area in August of 1986 when he began his career with Orange County Fire Rescue, to continue his 30 years in the Fire Service.
Larry had a love for his family, golf, travel, and took great joy in being able to reach out and help others in any way that he could.
Survivors include his wife, Renee Stone; children Kyle, Ryan and Ty; his mother, Katherine (O’Donald) and step-father Harris Coon; sister, Carol Stone; step-brother, Patrick Coon; and five nephews.
There will be a viewing at Baldwin-Fairchild Chapel; 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, Fla., Thursday, July 10, from 6 – 9 p.m.
A celebration of Life will be held as follows: Calvary Baptist Church, 631 S. Dillard Street at 11 a.m., Friday July 11, followed by a gathering at Hagan O’Reilly’s, 16112 Marsh Rd., Winter Garden.
