Orpha Cecelia Cook, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 12, 2014, with her husband by her side.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tom Cook; her children, Mark Holloway, Carol Barrile (Jimmy), Patrick (PJ) Holloway, Laurie Gundlach (Ron), and Susan Garrigus (David); 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first child, Maureen Strong.
She was born Aug. 25, 1928, to James and Cecelia Lindauer in Saginaw, Mich. Growing up in Bay City, Mich., she was one of seven children. She loved traveling and has been in all 50 states except for Hawaii. She traveled abroad. She loved fishing, but most important she loved her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly and they all loved her. She will be sadly missed.
