VERO BEACH — There’s something for kids of all ages at Riverside Children’s Theatre’s Spring Fiesta – a celebration of the performing arts for kids on Saturday, May 17.
RCT On The Go performances, Mr. Bones Magic Show, Silly Sam the Music Man, hands on activities and performance face painting are all free.
A featured performance of “Tangle of Tales” from the Grey Seal Puppets combines three favorite folk tales from around the world and takes place in the Anne Morton Theatre at Noon. The Fiesta opens at 10 a.m. with the last show of the day starting at 2:30 p.m.
Begun in 2000 as the result of a generous gift of the Wahlstrom and McCabe Foundations in honor of Agnes Wahlstrom, the Spring Fiesta was established as a means to celebrate and introduce the performing arts to local children.
This year’s event takes place with additional funding from Diane and Lee Fentress and is in partnership with Kids Blast also in Riverside Park May 17.
