Stanley Molin, 81, Vero Beach

Stanley Molin, 81, of Riverside, Conn., and Vero Beach, passed away on April 17, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rhoda Molin; daughter, Siri Parsons (Michael); three grandchildren, Casey, Hunter and Abby Parsons; and many cousins.

Molin is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Bernice Molin, and two sons, Dirk Molin and Sten Molin.

Molin was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and is a graduate of the University of Buffalo with a degree in psychology. He was a professional pilot with Eastern Airlines for over 30 years, a professional ski instructor and a computer consultant later in his career.

He founded the Quiet Birds Model Airplane Club in Vero Beach, and enjoyed playing tennis and had a passion for food.

A celebration of Molin’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, at Nutmeg State Cremation Society (same facility as Bosak Funeral Home) at 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, Conn., (203) 348-0443.
