Thomas “Tod” Hartley Hoffman, 60, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 8, 2014.
He is survived by his father, Thomas T. Hoffman; sister, Margaret Sneddon; and his two sons, Joshua Thomas and Jordan Joseph.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence B. Hoffman.
Hoffman grew up and attended public school in Tarrytown, N.Y., where he excelled in sports and served one year as student body president. He graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School in 1972.
On April 20, 1991, he married Lesley Clymer. They had two sons, Joshua Thomas and Jordan Joseph. Before becoming disabled, Hoffman worked for a time as a technician for Comcast and volunteered at Casey House, a hospice in Montgomery, Md. He also drove the seniors’ Bus for his Church in Gaithersburg, Md. He moved to Vero Beach in order to be near his mother and father.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m., in the chapel at Indian River Estates, 7730 Indian Oaks Dr., Vero Beach, FL 32966.
