The body of Patricia Danna-Harrison was found along a beach in Jupiter over the weekend. She was wrapped in a boat cover and there were three small anchors tied around her body.

While multiple tests still need to be conducted, police in Sebastian said the woman died before she was dumped in the water.

Detective Todd Finnegan did not want to go into detail about the cause of death but did say that the 67-year-old did not suffer a gunshot wound.

Danna-Harrison’s 49-year-old son Alfred “Al” Geary is the prime suspect in the homicide case. Geary committed suicide 10 days after his mother was last seen alive by friends on Dec. 19.

Geary did not leave a suicide note.

Danna-Harrisons had a second son who died about a decade ago. Early on in the missing person investigation, Geary told police that his brother had killed himself.

Police have suspected Geary as a prime suspect early on as his demeanor when he reported his mother missing on Dec. 21 seemed nonchalant. He also failed a lie detector test days before he killed himself.

Police have not yet ruled out of anyone else may have been involved in the death of Danna-Harrison.
