INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Local legend Jake Owen is set to kick off his “Days of Gold Tour” on March 20 in Brookings, S.D., but will deliver his tour finale in his hometown of Vero Beach on Oct. 25.
Owen released his Days of Gold album in 2013 and has enjoyed numerous successes including the growing popularity of “Beachin’”, a track on the album that will be released as a single in February, according to the artist’s website.
Owen’s headline tour will take him to more than 55 cities from the Rockies to the east coast in just over seven months. Opening bands will include the Eli Young Band, Parmalee, Thomas Rhett, and the Cadillac Three depending, on concert location.
As featured in a handful of his songs, Vero Beach’s Riverside Café is one of the artist’s favorite places to stop by when he returns home. He has even been known to treat his local fans with surprise concerts from the café’s stage.
