VERO BEACH — Last year, over 1,000 people attended the Republican Women’s Christmas House Designer Showcase to help fund nonprofits in Indian River County.
The recipients this year are: Boys and Girls Club, Camp Haven, CASTLE, Hibiscus Children’s Center, SunUp ARC, Women’s Refuge of Vero Beach, and Youth Sailing Foundation. All of these organizations depend on funding from the caring people in our community to help subsidize much needed services.
This annual season opening event kicks off on Friday, Dec. 6, with a VIP Christmas House Gala Preview Party Reception from 7-9 p.m. Be among the first to see what a fabulous job our local designers, decorators, florists, artists, and landscapers have done with the already gorgeous home of Kurt and Marilyn Wallach.
The Christmas House is located at 5210 St. Andrew’s Island Dr. in Grand Harbor. Enjoy delectable food and drink while viewing this season’s latest holiday decorating ideas.
The donation for this evening is only $100 per person. For $25, you can tour the Christmas House from 12-5 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday, Dec. 7 & 8.
At 2 p.m. on Sunday, the SunUp ARC Chorus will be singing/signing Christmas carols for your enjoyment.
