Diane Thelma Bailey, 67, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Bailey was born Oct. 15, 1945 in Blue Point, Long Island, N.Y.
She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1987, coming from Long Island.
She graduated from Bayport / Blue Point High School in 1964.
Prior to her retirement she worked for the Indian River County School Board for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Bailey; daughter, Deborah Wojciechowski; sons, David (Susan) and Daniel Bailey; brothers, Gary (Lyn) Miller and Wayne Miller; grandchildren, Sarah Bailey, Jessica Wojciechowski, Jordan Wojciechowski and Joshua Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morton and Thelma Miller; niece, Dawn M. Miller and nephew, Gary T. Miller.
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
A funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. with Father Michael Goldberg of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church officiating.
