Edwin M. Lincks, 90, died July 13, 2013, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Lakewood, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for 36 years, coming from Chesterland, Ohio.
He served in the Army during World War II, receiving the Purple Heart.
Before retirement, he worked in the post office for 30 years in Chesterland, Ohio.
He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his daughters, Cathleen Hatcher, of Umatilla, and Beth Ann Butters, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; son, Dennis Lincks, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Lincks.
Memorial contributions may be made to ED Memorial Project at any Wells Fargo Bank.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 3 at Grace Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
A private entombment was conducted at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
