Delbert S. Tipton, 87, died July 2, 2013, at Vero Beach.
He was born in Madison County, Ky., and lived in Vero Beach for 22 years, coming from Kentucky.
Before retirement, he worked as an inspector for Ford Motor Co., Metuchen, N.J.
He was a member of Shiloh Youth Ranch, Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mary Tipton; sons, Bill Tipton, of Vero Beach, Ken Tipton, of Junction City, Ky., Gary Tipton, of El Paso, Texas, and Donnie Tipton, of Hazard, Ky.; daughter, Regina Eberhart, of Port Orange; and brother, Arlen Tipton, of Hazard, Ky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Youth Ranch, 10655 Roseland Road, Sebastian, FL 32958.
Services will be at Shiloh Youth Ranch at a later date.
