TREASURE COAST — Applications are being accepted for the 2013 Best Places to Work programs in Martin and Indian River County.
“Winning is always the goal. However, year after year, I enjoy hearing the feedback from participating companies who tell me how important the information they garner from the survey is to their decision process when evaluating employee benefits,” said Workforce Solutions Business Services Director Marcelo Dossantos.
The Best Places to Work is a national program that was developed to provide a confidential forum for local employers to participate in an evaluation of various local workplace best practices and programs.
It provides an opportunity for employers to compare themselves to others of a similar size and serves as a valuable tool for business and human resource planning. The companies identified as Best Places to Work will be honored at a prestigious awards luncheon in October.
Workforce Solutions, with support from the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, the Treasure Coast HR Association, and Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce, present the 2013 Indian River County Best Places to Work program.
Workforce Solutions, with support from HR Martin County, Stuart/Martin Chamber of Commerce, Palm City Chamber of Commerce, Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce, Indiantown Western Martin County Chamber of Commerce, and Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce, present the 2013 Martin County Best Places to Work program.
To participate, you will be asked to complete a short survey. The questionnaire contains simple questions about your company’s personnel practices and benefits, such as vacation days, sick days, training opportunities, safety, growth, and other areas.
In return, you will receive a confidential report with detailed information on how your organization’s employment practices compare to other organizations in your county.
Application is complimentary thanks to generous sponsors like New Vision Eye Center, VNA of the Treasure Coast, Seacoast National Bank, CVS Distribution Center in Indian River County, Optima Healthcare Solutions, and Sandhill Cove Retirement Living in Martin County.
