Billy Blackmon Jr., 49, died July 10, 2013, in Vero Beach.
He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.
He worked in the construction industry.
Survivors include his mother, Annie Blackmon, of Vero Beach; sons, Dreyfus Blackmon, of Vero Beach and Billy Blackmon Jr., of Jacksonville; daughters, Tamika Hunter and Cassandra Blackmon, both of Orlando, Shanita Veen, of Bradenton, Yonbria King, Courtney King and Ladreka King, all of Vero Beach; brothers, Johnny Blackmon, Billy Joe Blackmon, Dennis Bishop and Jerome Bishop, all of Vero Beach, and Wilbert Bishop Jr., of Dothan, Ala.; sister, Annie P. Blackmon and Barbara E. Bishop; and fiance, Joyce King, all of Vero Beach.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 19 at Hortense/Mills Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. July 20 at Wabasso Church of God in Wabasso.
Burial will follow in Wabasso Cemetery. Hortense/Mills Memorial Funeral Home.
