Wanda Irons Stedelin, died June 21, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Essex, Mo., and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from St. Louis.
Before retirement, she worked as a secretary for the Vero Beach Police Department’s Detective Division.
She was of the Christian faith.
She was a member of the Needle Nippers, Vero Beach, where she crocheted baby blankets for neonatal units across the country.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Stedelin, of Crystal City, Mo.; daughters, Marla Brady, of Peoria, Ill., Karen L. Patrick, of Port St. Lucie and JoAnn Goehler, of Ballwin, Mo.; sister, Mary Ulen, of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 27 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
