Ruby Pinner, 93, died May 25, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Lebanon, Tenn., and moved to Vero Beach in 1998 from Waterford, Mich.
She was a member of the Quaint Quilters in Waterford and the Sun Bonnet Sue Quilters in Vero Beach.
She also was a Scout Troop leader, room mother and hospital volunteer in Michigan.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Pinner, of Clarkston, Mich., and Roy Pinner, of Vero Beach; daughter, Judith Sheldon, of Vero Beach; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Grady Pinner.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. May 29 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with a celebration of life remembrance service at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
