Denise Berginc, 55, died May 28, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Opa-locka and lived in Vero Beach for 54 years, coming from her birthplace.
She worked as a private duty caretaker.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Church of God in Winter Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Charles Berginc, of Vero Beach; sons, Keith Dewane Thompson and Robert Nathan Thompson, both of Vero Beach, and Charles George Berginc Jr., of Immokalee; sisters, Robbie McMillan and Louise Ranney, both of Vero Beach, and Darlene Trythall, of Kenansville; and brothers, Dennis Thompson, Johnnie Thompson and Robert Thompson, all of Vero Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Julia Thompson; sister, Terry Lynn Thompson; and brother, George Thompson.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. June 13 at Good Shepherd Church of God in Winter Beach.
