Marcus F. Patterson, Sr., 79, died May 22, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
He was born in Noma and lived in Fellsmere since 1940, coming from Noma.
He was a commercial fisherman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fellsmere.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; sons, Tommy and Pat, of Fellsmere; daughter, Carolyn Klotzer, of Sebastian; sisters, Marvel Walker, of Zellwood and Zerita Madsen, of Pensacola; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Marcus “M.F.” Patterson Jr.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. May 24 at the First Baptist Church of Fellsmere.
Interment will follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Fountainhead Funeral Home of Palm Bay.
