Robert Durden Hall, 79, died April 3, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Miami and moved to Vero Beach 25 years ago, coming from Miami.
He was the owner of Rob-El Construction Corp. of Miami, where he worked in underground construction for 30 years before his retirement.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was an alumnus of Miami High School, Class of 1951.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elinor Hall; daughters, Teresa Sak of Vero Beach and Christine Sotolongo of Miami; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Hall.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. April 5 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with the funeral at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Shelly A. Satran, Our Savior Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
